Verify that the back of each appliance and storage shelf is secured in the
rack.
Verify that the power cords that are connected to each appliance are
connected to a 110 VAC or a 220 VAC power source.
Verify that the power cords that are connected to each storage shelf are
connected to a 110 VAC or a 220 VAC power source.
Verify that eth0 on the rear panel of the appliance is only used for
management purposes. This port should not be connected to the customer's
production network.
Verify that Ethernet cables connect the 1Gb or 10Gb Ethernet ports on the
appliance to a switch or other network interface.
Verify that the cable in the IPMI port is secure.
Verify that a SAS cable connects each SAS port on the appliance to a
SAS_IN port on the first storage shelf. The maximum supported length of
the SAS cable is 1 meter (3.28 feet).
