Connecting NetBackup nodes to the network
This section provides information about connecting the network ports on both
compute nodes to your network. Network ports on the rear panel of the compute
node are shown in the following diagram.

Item 1 - IPMI (remote management) port

Item 2 - eth0/NIC1 port (for laptop connection)

The default IP address for this private network port is 192.168.229.233.

The default login credentials are:

Item 3 - eth1/NIC2 port
Each of these ports requires a Cat5 (minimum) Ethernet cable.
