TERMINAL SET-UP
■
Select
‘English’
on the screen and then press the green key
to confirm your selection.
■
Enter
Your TID (Terminal ID number) that was sent to you
in your Welcome letter and press the green key.
■
Re-enter the same TID to confirm and press the green
key.
■
Press
the green key again on the ‘TID has been changed’
screen.
■
Enter a Manager password to access configuration menus
(if required) and press the green key.
■
Re-enter the password to confirm and press the green key.
■
Enter the date in the format ddmmyy
■
Press
the green key to confirm.
■
Enter
the time in the format hhmm (the colon is
not
required between the hour and minutes).
■
Press the green key to confirm.
TO MAKE A CARD PAYMENT
■
The terminal will now connect to the Online system
to download your Merchant information.
■
Press the green key to continue.
Please DO NOT change any information on the screen.
■
Press the green key to continue
Please DO NOT change any information on the screen.
■
Verify that your TID is correct. Press the red key to go
back and change it if required.
If your TID is correct press the green key to continue.
■
The terminal will now complete a series of diagnostics
and complete the download of your merchant specific
information.
■
When the configuration has completed, the terminal
will re-boot and you will see the screen opposite
.
■
You are now ready to start taking card payments
.
■
Follow on screen prompts to complete each card
transaction.
1.
Enter the amount.
2.
Press the green key to confirm.
3.
Ask the card holder to tap (contactless), insert or swipe
the card.
4.
Print the receipts.
