BATTERY
Complaint

Battery runs
down quickly.
1. The charging method is not
correct.
2. Cell plates have lost much
of their active material as
a result of over-charging.
3. A short-circuit condition
exists within the battery due
to excessive accumulation
of sediments caused by the
incorrect electrolyte.
4. Battery is too old.
Check the magneto and regulator/rectifier circuit
connections, and make necessary adjustments to
obtain specified charging operation.
