This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle
could harm the environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal
waste; it should be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be
returned to your distributor or to a local recycling service. Respect the local environmental
rules.
If in doubt, contact your local waste disposal authorities.

service. If the device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.

. Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping liquids.
Never put objects filled with liquids on top of or close to the device.
Do
not crimp
the garland and protect it against damage.
Do
not switch on
the garland when it is still in the box.

General Guidelines

on the last pages of this manual.
Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
Note that the LED lamps are not replaceable.
Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.
All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications
to the device is not covered by the warranty.
Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the
warranty.
Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and
the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
Keep this manual for future reference.

Use
1.
Inspect the insulation before each use of the garland. If you notice any damage, do not install the
garland and contact your local dealer.
2.
Slide open the battery compartment and insert 2 x AA/LR6 1.5 V batteries (not incl.). Mind the
polarity. Close the battery compartment. Do not switch on the garland yet.
Warning:
Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire as they may explode. Do not
attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries (alkaline). Dispose of batteries in accordance
with local regulations. Keep batteries away from children.

The garland is suitable for indoor use only. Start mounting the garland at the side of the battery
compartment.
Make sure the garland cannot be damaged, for example by sharp edges, swinging windows,
doors, etc. Also make sure the garland cannot cause any hazardous situation if it accidentally comes
loose. For example, avoid crossing passageways. Damage caused by inconsiderate mounting is not
covered by the warranty.
4.
Use the on/off switch on the battery compartment to switch the garland on.
5.
Always switch the garland off after use.
