1. Introduction & Safety Prescriptions

! Read this manual carefully before you bring the
XML8(W)
into service. Respect
the safety prescriptions listed below :

Damage caused by disregarding certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer
will not accept responsibility for the ensuing defects or problems.
•
Do not switch the set on immediately if it has been exposed to changes in temperature. Protect the set against
damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.
•
Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of this manual.
•
Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage from sharp edges. Ask an authorised dealer to replace
the cord if necessary.
•
Always disconnect the set from the mains when it is not in use or when you wish to clean it. Only handle the
power cord by the plug. Never pull out the plug by tugging the power cord.
•
This set is a luminous low-voltage chain consisting of 160 micro lamps, subdivided into 4 channels and steered
via the programs of an electric controller.
2. Use
•
The
XML8(W)
uses a low-voltage transformer for additional safety.
•
Avoid wear and tear of the insulating materials. Return the set to your dealer for repair if the insulating materials
are damaged.
•
The lamps cannot be replaced
•
Do not connect the
XML8(W)
with another light set.
•
Only use the set when unpacked.
•
The lamps can be used both indoors and outdoors, but the transformer should be kept indoors at all times.
•
Use the original packaging for storage and transportation purposes.
