1. Introduction
The
MONCOLHA5P
is controlled by an OSD ("On-Screen Display") microcomputer. This computer is used to adjust
contrast, brightness, colour, volume and the OSD display position. The device is also equipped with an internal
EEPROM memory that will save the original settings in case the power is cut.

AV1 : composite video input audio input

POWER button : to activate/deactivate the device
Two headphone outputs (3.5mm stereo jacks) : one on
the left, the other on the right
Remark : The adjustments are displayed backwards if the MIR/NOR switch to the right of the A/V connections is pushed
to the left. Push the switch to the right to display the adjustments normally (see figure of the side panel above).
3. Operation
a) Make sure the video and audio input connections are properly executed.
b) Hold
MODE
and
◄
simultaneously and then connect the 12VDC power adapter with the
DC IN
jack. Release
MODE
and
◄
. Press
MODE
until "
OSD HP
" is displayed. Use
◄
and
►
to determine the horizontal display
position of the various adjustments. Press
MODE
and do the same for "
OSD VP
", which is the vertical display
position for the adjustments.
c) Press
MODE
to display the following adjustments : Volume
→
Contrast
→
Brightness
→
Colour
→
Tint
→
OSD
HP
→
OSD VP
→
Up/Down
→
NTSC/PAL
→
... in that order. Use

and
►
to enter the desired values (min.
00, max. 255).
d) Disconnect the power adapter and plug it in again. The device is now in the normal mode. Press
MODE
to select
Contrast
→
Brightness
→
Colour
→
Volume in that order. Adjust the values with

or
►
and make sure the
video and audio output connections are properly executed.
