three threaded bushes (Fig.7), using them to make sure the appliance is
flat; now fix the bushes to the M3 grains supplied.
Important note:
when adjusting flattening, do not unscrew the bushes
more than 10mm.
6)Connect the plug of the power cable previously installed to the socket
situated on the top part of the hood body.
REPLACING FILTERS
This hood is in filtering version only.
The active carbon filter cannot be regenerated; therefore it must be
replaced at least once every two months.
To replace the filter (Fig.3), gain access to the carbon filter and extract the
filter grid by rotating it. Then rotate the carbon filter until releasing it.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Make sure that the mains voltage is suitable for feeding the hood, as
specified on the plate inside the appliance.
Mount an approved plug on the cable, suitable for the load to be taken or, in
case of direct connection to the mains, provide for an adequate standard
double pole isolator switch between the mains supply and the appliance.
Functional control: make sure the motor is started at the various speeds
and the lights work.
USE OF THE HOOD
It is recommended to operate the hood before carrying out any cooking
operation and to leave it in operation for at least 15 minutes after cooking
is terminated in order to completely eliminate odours.
Instructions for users:
the hood is equipped with the following functions (Fig.5):
A- First extraction speed button –ON/OFF
B- Press the button to turn on the light. Press it again to turn it off.
C- Button for reducing the extraction speed
disconnecting the plug or using the main switch.
INTRODUCTION
The following instructions have been drawn up in order to illustrate the
technical details of your hood and explain its use. As these instructions
relate to more than one hood model, components that do not form part of
the hood being installed may be referred to.
The hood must be used to exhaust cooking fumes and odours to the outside.
The connections that convey air may vary from country to country.
With the purpose of improving our product, we reserve the right to modify
it without notice.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION - GENERAL
This hood has been designed for installation on the ceiling above a hob. It
can be used in Filtering version.
INSTALLATION
The hood must be mounted over the centre of the hob.
The minimum distance between the hob and the lower part of the hood is
650mm. (Fig.2) Warning: Provide adequate ventilation in the room when
the hood is used at the same time as other appliances burning gas or other
fuels.
1)Set the distance between the hob and the hood (Fig.2) adjusting the
height by using the clamps mounted on the ropes (Fig.6).
2)Fix the plate to the ceiling (Fig.1/A) using the three screws and plugs
supplied and inserting the power cable in the centre hole of the plate.
3)Connect the power cable to the network leaving it inside the ceiling
plate.
4)Mount the polycarbonate panel using the slot for inserting the power
cable (Fig.1/B), position it with the ceiling grid (Fig.1/C) onto the plate
through the magnets.
5)Position the hood body (Fig.1/G) under the ceiling plate and screw in the
