Product Description
Figure 40 illustrates Product Description setup choices. You can assign up to eight products for the EMR
3
. Each
product has a type, a name, and if the Temperature Compensation option is installed, a temperature compensation
factor. The availability of temperature compensation is a factory installed option of the EMR
3
. Thermal
compensation for all products is calculated by either thermal coefficient or density, which you select in Delivery
Options Setup (page 43).
Entering a Custom Name for a Product Type
There are eight default Product Types in the EMR
3
. If you select one of the default Product Types you do not have
to accept a default Product Name. For example, if you wanted to assign Jet Fuel to Product 1, select Kerosene as
the Product Type for Product 1 and change the Product Name from Kerosene to Jet Fuel.
