Error Reason Remedy
The device does
not boot and shows
‚Missing operating
system‘. A USB-storage device
without operating sys-
tem is inserted. Remove the USB-
storage device from
the port at the bottom
of the housing and
restart the device.
The installed hard disk
is faulty or does not
contain an operating
system. Please contact your
Vectron dealer.
The device does not
start. The voltage supply is
faulty. Check the voltage
supply:
• fit of power cable
• fit of cable from pow-
er supply to port
• power outlet.
The display is
• too bright
• too dark
• has a colour cast. The display settings
are faulty. see chapter 11.4
The housing is warmer
than 50 °C. The device is
• exposed to direct
sunlight
• installed at a loca-
tion with heat accu-
mulation.
Ensure an adequate
cooling and a sun-pro-
tected set-up site.

The program Vectron
POS PC does not start
and a corresponding
error message occurs. The hardlock (cf. fig.
10, no. 2) is not inser-
ted. Plug the hardlock into
the appropriate port
and start the program
again.
No main licence for
the hardlock is loaded. Please contact your
Vectron dealer.
