Configuration via USB stick
IMPORTANT
You will require knowledge in the area of networks and setting up networks if
you wish to configure the VDO SmartTerminal for a network connection. Con-
tact your network administrator to carry out the settings.
Alternatively, the configuration can be transferred at any time using a USB stick
if the device is no longer accessible by the VDO TerminalTools or if you run it it
standalone operation;

The transfer of the configuration with a USB stick is necessary if you
• are configuring the VDO SmartTerminal for the network operation and are
changing the settings of the TCP/IP connection.
• are changing the settings of the TCP/IP connection in the running network
operation.
• are running the VDO SmartTerminal independently (standalone).
