Product Information

Automatic Source Selection

Based on its source priority logic, MI 2050 can switch auto-
matic between both possible sources. The reversing camera has
always highest priority and will be shown automatically when
the rear gear gets active. The monitor will stay dark (blacklight
off) when no signal is available. This function is for driver‘s
safety reason.

Input for up to 2 sources

The MI 2050 provides input for up to 2 different sources.
-  1 VDO Dayton Reversing Camera (RV 5200 or RV 5100)
-  1 universal AV source, such as DVD Player DV 6200 or
  TV 5200 or DTV 6500

Integrated power supply for reversing camera

To make the installation more simple and less costly MI 2050
provides an integrated power supply for a VDO Dayton Rever-
sing Camera. This is the most simple and safest way to get the
rear view image on the screen.

Small dimensions

Together with the new RV 5200 color camera and the new

MM 5200 monitor it is a highly attractive system with small

dimensions.

Monitor Connection

When connecting a monitor to the MI 2050 you may chose
between a connection via CVBS (Mitsumi) or RCA. Please note
that the MI 2050 can only drive one monitor at a time even
if there are two mechanical connections possible. A parallel
usage of RCA and Mitsumi connectors is not possible.
Since there is no connection of a navigation computer‘s signal
forseen, IR and RGB signals are not supported.
