■ Cleaning
► Cleaning the DTCO 4.1
• Clean the DTCO 4.1 with a lightly
dampened cloth or a microfibre clean-
ing cloth.

Both can be obtained from your Distribu-
tion & Service Center.
ATTENTION
Avoid damage
• Do not use any abrasive cleaning
agents and not solvents or petrol.
► Cleaning tachograph card
● Clean any dirty tachograph contacts
with a lightly moistened cloth or a mi-
crofibre cleaning cloth.
The latter is available at your competent
Sales & Service Centre.
ATTENTION
Avoid damage
Do not use solvents or petrol to clean
the tachograph contacts.
■ Compulsory inspection
Preventive maintenance work is not re-
quired for the DTCO 4.1.
• However, have the proper functioning
of the DTCO 4.1 checked at least
every two years by an authorised
workshop.
Inspections are required if the following
points have occurred:
• Changes have been made to the
vehicle, e.g. to the distance pulse
count or the tyre circumference.
• Repairs were carried out on the
DTCO 4.1.
• The registration number of the vehicle
has changed.
• The UTC time deviates by more than
20 minutes.
