Unit date:
Enter the current date here. Since the system time is controlled by the internal
clock, it is not necessary to enter the day of week. This is added automatically.
Unit time:
Enter the current time here or click the
Synchr. PC
button to copy the system
time of your computer to the VIP.
Time server
Using the Time Server Protocol the VIP can receive a time signal from a time
server and use it to set its internal clock. The device calls up the time signal
automatically every two hours.
Time zone:
Select the time zone that applies to your system.
Time settings:
Select this during daylight savings time if the time change is to be taken into
account. Deselect it when standard time has resumed.
Time server IP address:
Enter the IP address of the chosen time server here.
