11.1.5 Rinse water collection tray
Procedure
1. Disassemble the belt cartridge as described in chapter "11.1.4 Cleaning the belt cartridge and
sieve" (steps 1-3).
2. The collection tray can be rinsed out with a wet cloth in this state.
11.2 Checks
Faults can often be detected during routine checks before they lead to downtime during production.
Half-yearly checks

Check the conveyor belt tension. For more information on this see chapter "11.2.1 Checking
the belt tension".

Check correct functionality of the sieves. Replace defective or no longer fully functional sieves.

Make sure that the door seals and protective curtains are functioning correctly and are not
worn. The sealing elements must be replaced if excessive blower air escapes from the ma-
chine. Contact the VC999 Customer Service Department.

Check the state of the blower wheel.

Check the state of the blower filter. Replace the defective blower filter as needed.
Every 500 service hours and at least once a year

Check the drive belt on the blower for tension and wear.
CAUTION
Hot spray water!
There is a risk of scalding when cleaning with hot water! Wear protective
clothing and safety goggles.
