8 Start-up
8.1 Initial start-up
8.1.1 Installation check
Stability
1. Check the stability of the machine.
2. Make sure the machine is stably positioned on the floor.
3. If necessary, level out the machine according to the description in chapter "5.4 Levelling the
machine".
Electrical connection
1. Check that the machine is connected to the electrical power supply. If necessary, plug the
connecting cable into the socket of the electrical power supply.
2. Check the required rotational direction (red arrow[3]) of the blower. Remove the left machine
casing and check the rotational direction of the fan propeller (2) through the opening of the
casing (1). If the fan propeller is rotating in the wrong direction a phase transition must be
performed on the discharge side.

3. Also check the rotating direction of the conveyor belt. If the conveyor belt is rotating in the
wrong direction a phase transition is to be performed on the discharge side.
The initial start-up may only be performed by VC999 Customer Service repre-
sentatives! This process also serves as a comprehensive training session for
the customer's personnel.

Unauthorised initial start-up itself can result in injury or damage to equipment
or property!
