Programs

To access the
Programs
fields:

A "program" is a way to group a video and/or audio source and define information common
to the program. The number of programs available depends on the number of channels.
Depending on what you purchased, your encoder can have 1, 2, or 4 channels (and therefore
1, 2, or 4 programs) available. Encoders with presentation features enabled have only 1
program available regardless of the number of inputs.
Field Description
Choose Program Select Program 1, 2, 3, or 4.
Used by Streams Shows the stream numbers that are associated with this program.
Video Input Read-only. Set on Encoder Configuration > Video Input page.
Audio Input Read-only. Set on Encoder Configuration > Audio Input page.
Program Name Lets you define a descriptive name for the program which is added
to the announcement. This announcement text is displayed in the
Program Guide for other VBrick products. Default =
\H Program x

Both Program Name and Session Information allow special
character strings to be inserted automatically into these fields.

– Host Name of VBrick encoder. When the default entry is
used, the program is identified by the default VBrick Host Name.
Author A string in the announcement that can be used to identify the
author. This string is shown in StreamPlayer. Default = "My
Author."
Copyright A string in the announcement that can be used to identify the
copyright information. This string is shown in StreamPlayer. Default
= "My Copyright."
