Insert the back panel 
into the loorhead.

Insert the lower cord 
hook into the hole 
at the bottom of the 
back panel.

Now take the small 
clip and push it down 
between the end of the 
cord hook and the  
machine, to lock the 
cord holder in place.  

Place the dirt container onto the machine. 
Ensure the dirt container tabs line up with 
the holes in the post motor ilter cover. 

Assembling your upright

Ensure that the back of  
the dirt container connects 
to the inlet tube.

Place dirt container on 
machine and click into 
place at the back panel.

Insert the short end of the 
hose into the tube at the 
back of the machine and 
turn to lock.

Push the hose end into the 
hose to machine connector. 

Before you begin cleaning

•  Always switch of and unplug the vacuum cleaner before connecting or disconnecting the hose/attachments,  

or removing and emptying the dirt container.

•  The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a thermal cut-out. If for any reason the vacuum cleaner does overheat the 

thermostat will automatically turn the vacuum cleaner of. If this happens, switch the vacuum cleaner of and unplug 
from electrical socket. Remove and empty the dirt container also check the vacuum cleaner for blockages. Allow the 
vacuum cleaner to cool for approximately 1 hour (if you have cleaned the ilters please wait 24 hours for the ilters  
to fully dry before putting back into the vacuum machine). 

•  Filters require cleaning at least every 3 months.

•  If the vacuum cleaner is blocked, switch of and unplug before removing the blockage.

Push the on/of switch to 
turn machine on.

Place your foot gently on the loorhead and pull the 
handle backwards to recline the machine.

PLEASE READ ‘LET’S TALK SAFETY’ AT THE BEGINNING BEFORE USE

Push the hose end into the hose to machine connector.

Attach TurboTool clip to the 
handle. Snap TurboTool 
into position.*

Inset the handle into the 
top of the back panel until 
it clicks into place. 

Remove hose end from 
the loorhead.

Attach accessory 
adapter to hose end.

If required use tool 
connector.

Push the quick release 
cord hook to one side to 
release the power cord.

Turn the height adjuster 
dial backwards for the 
carpet setting.

Turn the height adjuster dial 
forwards for the hard loor setting, 
the loorhead will tilt forward.

*Not applicable for all models
