Inspection of the System
Warning
If any irregularity be observed during the inspection, do not use the Digital Video Monitor. Damage or
irregularity may compromise patient or user safety and may result in more severe equipment damage.

Inspect photographing, recording function of the equipment. Please refer to Section
5.5.1
Photo-shooting
and Section 5.5.2 Video Recording.
2. Inspect the endoscope function according to the instruction for use of the endoscope.

heck to ensure the view observed through the display provides a live image and has the
correct image orientation.

Operation of the Digital Video Monitor
Warning
When advancing or withdrawing a Vathin endoscope, always watch the real-time endoscopic image on
the monitor.

5.6.
After Use
1. Disconnect the Vathin endoscope from the product. For information on how to dispose of the Vathin
endoscope, refer to its user's manual.
2. Press the power button to turn off the product, and disconnect the power cable. To disconnect Digital
Video Monitor from mains, remove the mains plug from the wall outlet.
3.
Clean and disinfect the product according to Chapter 7 Cleaning and Disinfection.
