Connecting the IDENTIKEY Appliance to your Network

Power up the IDENTIKEY Appliance by connecting the appliance via the power cable to a supply.
Note
The AG-7XXX models have two power units, each with a separate power cable. These power
cables need to be connected to separate power circuits. The second (redundant) supply provides
backup in case the fuse for the supplying power circuit fails.

Two lights on the front of the IDENTIKEY Appliance indicate that the device is connected and operational (see
image below).Check the lights are on as shown below. If not,
Check that the network cable is in good working order and correctly plugged into one of the LAN
Ethernet interfaces and your network hub or switch.

Connect to your Network
There are two ways to change the IDENTIKEY Appliance IP address to an address within your network:
Use the Rescue Tool, as explained in section
Temporarily isolate a client workstation from the network and link it to the IDENTIKEY Appliance. This involves
changing a client workstation IP address to within the specified IP address range for the IDENTIKEY Appliance,
for which we provide instructions here.
The IDENTIKEY Appliance is delivered with the following standard configuration on the LAN Ethernet interface:
