Maintenance 

Note: To ensure long and reliable service, carry out the following maintenance regularly. 

 

Regularly check for obvious defects such as loose fixings, and worn or damaged 
components. 

 

Check that covers and guards are undamaged and correctly fitted. 

 

Carry out necessary maintenance or repairs before using. 

The  grass  trimmer  will  continue  to  rotate  for  a  while  after  the  power  is 
switched off. 

9.3 

Knife Maintenance 

 

To remove the worn knife (9), push it in direction of the arrow until it snaps off the pivot. 

 

Clean the pivot of any residual plastic/debris with a sharp knife. 

 

To refit the new knife, place the eyelet over the pivot  and pull outwards until it snaps into 
place.
