Warning
! Do not attempt to pick up an off-cut or to remove the holding workpiece before the
cutting blade has completely stopped. If holding the workpiece by hand take extreme care and
ensure hand is kept away from the cutting blade.
10.2
Changing cutting blade (fig 2)
Warning! To avoid injury from accidental starting, always turn the switch off
“0” and remove the power plug from the power source before changing the
blade.
Remove the safety cover (9, Fig. 1).
Use correctly sized open-ended spanners to loosen the (left-handed thread) nut
(1, Fig. 2).
Remove the outer flange (2, Fig. 2), then the saw blade (3, Fig. 2).
When fitting the new blade, note the correct direction of rotation: the arrow on the cutting
blade and on the safety cover (9, Fig. 1) must face the same direction.
Re-fit the outer flange, and then tighten the nut firmly (Fig. 2).
DIAMOND BLADES
Only use 180mm diameter Continuous Rim Wet Diamond blades.
DO NOT use larger, segmented or 'turbo' blades, , wood sawing blades, or any other cutting
device.
Severe bodily injury, and damage to your saw can occur.
Inspect blades daily for cracks or uneven wear. Discard cracked, chipped or bent blades!
Ensure the blade is mounted with the rotation arrow in the proper direction and is securely
tightened with a wrench.
Always ensure a continuous flow of water on both sides of the blade before cutting any
material.
Do not operate the machine without all safety guards in position
Do not force the material into the blade. Let the blade cut at its own speed.
11 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Attention ! Before performing any work on the equipment, pull the power
plug.
11.1
Cleaning
Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use.
Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt.
If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.
Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These
solvents may damage the plastic parts.
Remove the water tray from the machine and drain the dirty water.
11.2
Maintenance
Our machines have been designed to operate over a long period of time with a minimum of
maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper machine care and
regular cleaning.
