Installation of the pump. (fig B)
Never let the pump run dry. Always make sure that the suction opening is
fully immersed.
10 OPERATION
Remove the head lock knob before use.
Adjust the required tool position, then tighten all the adjusting knobs, fence bolts and mitre
gauge bolts.
Before switching the machine on, make sure that the water pump is immersed.
Turn on the main switch and allow your tool to reach the maximum speed before commencing
cutting.
Place the workpiece against the fence or mitre fence.
Keep the workpiece in place and slowly guide the cutting disc through the workpiece.
Do not exert pressure on the cutting disc. Allow the machine enough time to cut the
workpiece.
Cutting actions tends to slow the blade down. Pressure should therefore be occasionally
released to allow the blade to regain the full speed.
Regularly check if the cutting disc is sufficiently cooled.
Make sure that the cutting disc is cooled with water Add some cooling water if necessary.
Lock the head after use.
If holding the workpiece by hand take extreme care and ensure hand is kept
away from the cutting blade.
