8. Check that a simple exponential decay exists for the on-resonance condition.
9. Set the HI BAND switch to HI POWER on the solids cabinet.
10. Determine the power necessary for a 180° pulse by setting:

that gives the closest to a null. Then set

to reacquire a single FID. Figure 23 shows
an example of a receiver recovery FID.
13. Enter

and examine the beginning of the FID. Using a cursor, determine the time
taken for the receiver system to recover and write down the value.
