Handling
WARNING
Accessory or optional equipment connected to the analog and digital
interfaces must be certified to the respective IEC standards (i.e. IEC
60950-1 for data processing equipment and IEC 61010 for electrical
equipment for measurement, control, and laboratory use). All
configurations shall comply with the system standard IEC 61010.
Anyone connecting additional or optional equipment to the signal
inputs or signal outputs as part of a configuration is responsible for
compliance with the equipment standard IEC 61010. Consult Varex
technical support personnel with any questions.
WARNING
Do not turn ON the power supply or X-ray Detector when
condensation is on the X-ray Detector or any of its components or
accessories. Ignoring this warning may cause electrical shock, which
may result in severe personal injury, death, or substantial product
damage.
WARNING
To avoid risk of electric shock, this equipment must only be connected
to a supply mains with protective earth.
WARNING
Never disassemble, modify, or alter the X-ray Detector, its
components, or accessories. Ignoring this warning may cause electrical
shock and/or unknown hazards, which may result in severe personal
injury, death, or substantial product damage.
WARNING
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer
could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
WARNING
Do not touch the interface and power supply or cable and the object at
the same time. Ignoring this warning may cause electrical shock and/
or unknown hazards, which may result in severe personal injury,
death, or substantial product damage.
WARNING
The detector is not sealed against dripping moisture. All care must be
taken to ensure that moisture does not enter the detector. Failure to do
so will cause the detector to fail and/or cause damage.
Caution
Do not exceed the maximum uniform load weight of 150 kg
distributed across the surface of the X-ray Detector.
Caution
Do not exceed the maximum load weight of 100 kg distributed on an
area of 40 mm in a diameter of the X-ray Detector surface.
