1.10.7 Replacement of bearing bushings.
Please see also page 105 and pictures here below.
•
Put the new bushing in the flange of the main support frame
•
Drill a hole ø 3 mm in the bushing / flange (picture nr. 1)
•
Put a hollow pin in this hole so the bushing cannot turn anymore in the flange (picture nr. 2)
•
Grind the protruding end of the pin off so the in-side of the bushings becomes nice and smooth
•
Drill a hole ø 3 mm at the location of the grease canal (picture nr. 3)

1.10.8 Pivot points of cutting head ram
The grease nipples of the pivot points of the cutting head ram, Det. 15

Page 110, have to be lubricated every 8 hours of
service.
1.10.9 Rear roller
The grease nipples of the bearings of the rear roller have to
be lubricated every 4 hours of service.
1.10.10 Obstacle Safety device
To be sure the obstacle safety device will work when necessary you have to clean the "room" around this device ánd
to oil the joint of this device at least every 150 hours of service.
To be able to do the job you have to "open" this device with the tractor or with a crowbar so you can reach the space
behind the pivot bar / the joints of this device.
1.10.11 Sliding part Hydro-Lift
The sliding part of the sliding device should be greased every 8 hours of service.
1.10.12 General grease advise
•
clean the grease nipples properly before starting to grease
•
do not use too high grease "pressure".
Too high grease pressure could damage
the seals!
•
grease interval depends strongly on circumstances
•
always re-grease all point after you washed the machine!
•
always use a good quality ball bearing grease EP-2, or equivalent.
