contact area on the surface, which in soft surfaces makes the traction more
efficient.
Although the optimal slipping percentage on a soft surface at typical driving
speeds is between 15...25%, the ASR allows for much higher slipping
percentages when the driving speed is very slow. This helps with accelerating
back to the desired driving speed for example after turning the tractor or changing
the driving direction with the power shuttle. When the driving speed increases,
the allowed slipping decreases until the optimal level is achieved. This level is
then maintained up to the maximum driving speed.

It is possible to override the ASR temporarily by pressing the drive pedal fully
down. The ASR is in use up to the full speed when the driving speed is controlled
by the hand throttle or the driving speed cruise control.
3.8.21.2 Using the anti-slip regulation
You can activate and set the anti-slip regulation (ASR) in the tractor terminal.
When the ASR is activated, the symbol appears on the tractor terminal. When the
ASR regulates slipping, the symbol blinks.
1. Press ESC.
2. Navigate to the menu 2 with the up and down arrow buttons.
3. Press the right arrow button to enter the transmission settings view.
NOTE: When the power shuttle lever is in the parking brake position (P), you
can enter the transmission settings view by pressing the preprogramming
button.
