Charging the refrigerant cycle
REVO E Evacuation and Charging Instructions

4.3.
Final inspection
On successfully charging the unit the following checks must be carried
out:
– Check for leak-proof condition
– Cut-off valves opened
– Refrigerant must be free from bubbles in the sight glass.
– Ensure a sufficient amount of charged refrigerant by a measurement
of subcooling: Delta K approx. 10K ±2K
– After 10 minutes of test running the compressor check the oil level in
the compressor: Set value: middle of sight glass.
– Check the shut-off pressure levels of the high-low pressure switches
by e.g. covering of the condenser / disconnecting the plug of the
magnetic valve!
NOTE:
Check position of the solenoid valve connector cable outlet ->
the cable outlet must point down.
Reason: to avoid water ingress into the connector housing
(see homepage "Technical Update / Solenoid valve")
– Check the functioning of ambient / fresh air flaps.
– Check whether the water valves are closed at maximum cooling up
to 100%.
