IP EMERGENCY WALL MOUNT CALL STATION
INTRODUCTION
The VIP-9895 IP Emergency Wall Mount Call
Station provides emergency communication to
any SIP telephone, SIP address, PC softphone,
Valcom intercom station or to a Valcom IP
Gateway. At the time of activation, the high
intensity blue LED changes from beacon mode
to flash mode. The LED will continue to flash
until the call is terminated. When the called
party answers, handsfree talkback
communication is enabled. When the called
party terminates the call, the connection is
terminated automatically.

INSTALLATION
When removing or reinstalling security
screws, start screws by hand before
tightening with a hand or power driver tool.
If using a power driver, operate it at very low
speed to help prevent thread seizing.
Using security hex driver carefully remove
top and set aside with hardware.
Using the security hex driver, carefully
remove the front speaker panel. While
supporting the panel, unplug connector from
main circuit board at the top of the speaker
(“A” in photo). Loosen screws from relay
connector on the small circuit board
attached to the speaker housing, and
disconnect the two white wires from the
relay (“B” in photo). Set speaker panel and
hardware aside.
Install base using appropriate hardware,
with
supplied (4) 1.5” neoprene washers
between base and mounting surface.
Connect earth ground to base (ground may
be connected using one of the mounting
screws).
