INTRODUCTION
The VIP-581A-IC InformaCast Compliant IP
FlexHorn Surface Mount units enable
loudspeaker voice paging anywhere on an
Ethernet network. The VIP-581A-IC consists of a
network-connected high efficiency horn, in a
durable steel enclosure. Power is provided to the
VIP-581A-IC via a Power over Ethernet (PoE)
switch meeting the 802.3af specification.
