LAY-IN TALKBACK IP CEILING SPEAKER
INTRODUCTION
The VIP-422A-SA is a Syn-Apps Compliant Lay-In
Talkback IP Ceiling Speaker to enable voice access
to a single zone of paging over an IP-based
network. This allows a page zone extension
anywhere on the network. The speaker output level
is controlled by the Syn-Apps server. The lay-in
ceiling speaker grille is made of steel with a white
baked enamel finish. The VIP-422A-SA replaces a
2’ x 2’ ceiling tile. Power is provided to the unit via
a Power over an Ethernet (PoE) switch meeting the
802.3af specification.
