4. Configuration with Insight software

4.1 Vaisala Insight software

Vaisala Insight software is a configuration software for Indigo-compatible devices. With the
Insight software, you can:

• See probe information and status
• See real-time measurement
• Record data up to 48 hours and export in CSV format
• Calibrate and adjust the probe
• Configure probe features such as measurement filtering, chemical purge, heating, and

serial communication

Microsoft Windows

 operating system and Vaisala USB cable (no. 242659) required.

4.2 Installing driver for the USB service cable

Only Windows

â

 operating systems are supported by the driver of the USB

service cable.

1. Connect the USB service cable to a USB port on your computer. Windows

â

 detects the

new device and installs the appropriate driver.

2. Open 

Devices and Printers

 from the Windows

â

 Start menu. Use search to find it if

necessary (search for "devices").
