Installation instructions neutralisation device
GB
• Unscrew the yellow protective cap from the
connection (14). Use the existing seal for fitting the
infeed hose.
• Shorten the infeed hose (12) to the desired length.
• Connect the infeed hose (12) with the connection
adaptor (8) and the angle piece (9), then secure them
with 2 hose clamps (7).
• Fix the mounted infeed hose to the connection (14).
h
Note!
If a water drain for the exhaust system is to be
interconnected then the pre-assembled hose
should be shortened to permit fitting the T
piece provided, using two hose clamps.
• Fix the drain hose (11) on the top of the unit on
connection (2) and secure using hose clamp (7).
h
Note!
The end of the drain hose can be directed up to
a height of 2 m and must be clearly visible so
that the functional efficiency of the unit can be
checked at any time.
• Pour in the neutralisation medium (6) evenly.

Caution!
Please make sure that no neutralisation
medium gets into the inlet chamber of the feed
pump.
Electrical installation and commissioning
• Push the 5 pin mains and connection cable (4) onto
the opposing plug of the neutralisation device. The
plug must click in position.
• Connect the white plug of the signal line to the ProE
switching field of the condensing boiler so that the
error messages are incorporated in the safety chain. In
the event of a functional fault in the feed pump the
boiler is switched off until the fault is rectified.
• Secure the signal line with a tension reducer supplied
with the system ProE switching field.
Connection to the 230 V mains supply
Connection to the 230 V mains voltage can take place in
two different methods:
• Connect the mains line to the 230 V mains voltage via
the mains voltage output of the boiler
or
• fit a mains plug to the mains line and connect the
pump via a mains plug socket. (The plug does not form
part of the supply)
All 3 LEDs light up for approx. 2 seconds and the safety
chain is closed.
This prepares the unit for operation and the condensing
boiler can be started up again.
4 Function
The feed pump is controlled by sensors of different
lengths to provide filling level control.
If the max sensor of the liquid is reached the feed pump
starts to pump away and stops only after the level drops
below the min sensor.
This process repeats on a cyclic basis depending upon
the filling level.
