Connection: ANT1/ANT2 - SMGM interface 1/2
SMGM/X communication interface for connecting to an SMGM/X coupler - stationary or mobile. The second
ANT connection (not SMGM-SI-1 and SMGM-DI-ST1 modules) can also be used for feeding switch segments
(only SMGM system).

* The HF resistor is preassembled for modules on which the second HF connection is not used. For which mod-
ules the second connection is used, please refer to the chapter „6.6 Overview: SMGM modules“.

Disturbance of equipment, system and safety functions as well as violation of EMC reg-
ulations.

SMGM modules may only be operated in conjunction with the SMGM/X profile and
mobile couplers.

Connecting "non-SMGM devices" to the antenna connections ANT1/ANT2 is not
permitted and violates EMC regulations.
►
Unused antenna inputs must be terminated with the Vahle HF terminating resistor
SMGM-XB-QLS-EA (ID No.: 10011926).
TIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONS!
Original VAHLE HF cables must be used.
The system is designed on the basis of the VAHLE HF cable attenuation values.
Only VAHLE HF cables have the required shielding values.
In order to ensure the system function, unused ANT connections must be terminated
with the terminating resistor SMGM-XB-QLS-EA.
