12.2 Operation
12.2.1 First commissioning
Before the first commissioning, please check:
•
whether the drives are undamaged.
•
the entire wiring (control system) for completeness, short circuit and ground faults.
•
whether the phases of the line voltage and the motors are connected correctly.
•
whether the phases of the control rail and the message rails are connected correctly.
•
whether the saved configuration is valid for the application.
•
whether the uploaded parameters are optimally aligned to the motors.
12.2.2 Switching on sequence

Danger for the external data storage due to connecting while voltage is present
Destruction or damage of the external data storage or its data.

The control system must be disconnected from the mains before the external data
storage is connected/disconnected to/from the control system.

Information about commissioning
It is mandatory to adhere to the described switching on sequence.
Please refer to the section “14 Malfunctions“ in case of failures during commissioning
Switch the control system on:
•
Connect the data storage to the bushing X40.
•
Switch the line voltage on, the control system is ready for operation after app. 1 s.
The control systems acts in accordance with the parameterized specifications (signals at the digital inputs).
The current operating status or a status message are shown on the display.
A flashing display means that a failure is active - see section “14 Malfunctions“
