2.7 Fitting the air hose
Fit the ejector elbow on the seed housing. Twist the elbow in well towards the centre of the drill
so that there is sufficient room for the rate test bag.
2.8 Fitting the PTO shaft

(Only applicable to machines with a PTO-driven fan.)
Position the tractor and drill at the maximum turning angle without connecting the PTO shaft. If
the power outlet is not central, position the tractor to the side giving the shortest shaft length. Me-
asure up the shaft length (10 cm shorter) and cut the shaft if necessary. Cut both ends equally. Fit
and check the shaft length. The minimum insertion length for the shaft is 500 mm.
NOTE!
During operation, the 80 o maximum operating angle of the front universal joint must not
be exceeded.
