network ping

Sends an ICMP ECHO_REQUEST to the specified hostname or IP address.

Synopsis

network ping [count <count>] [size <size>] <string>

Options

<count>

The number of ECHO_REQUEST packets to
send. Default is five packets.

<size>

The size of each ECHO_REQUEST packet.
Default is 56 bytes.

<string>

The hostname or IP address where the ECHO_
REQUEST packets will be sent.

Reboots the system either immediately or after the specified delay. Note that a reboot is required when
resetting the system to factory defaults (system factory-reset). The reboot message includes the model
name of the camera; the example is from an IntelliSHOT camera.

The number of seconds to delay the reboot.
