Note
Vaddio products are designed with very similar web interfaces. Some of the screen shots in this manual
may be from other cameras. Some may show settings that are not present or not enabled in your
camera.
Configuring Access and Other Security Settings

ECURITY PAGE
The Account Passwords and Web Server areas of the Security page provide basic security for the web
interface:
n
Admin password
– Required. The web interface is unavailable if no admin password is set.
n
User password
– Password-protected access to the operator's page of the web interface.
n
Allow Guest Access
– Allow access the operator's page without a password. Disabled by default.
n
Automatically Expire Idle Sessions
– Automatically logs you out after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Other security settings include:

Allow Telnet Access
– disabled by default.
n
Allow Zeroconf DNS-SD discovery
– allowed by default. This setting allows other Vaddio devices
to discover the camera on your network.

Advanced Settings –
Enable HTTP access
(disabled by default) and
Manage SSL Certificate
.
Note
Consult your network security specialist before changing any of these settings. Seek explicit guidance
concerning the SSL certificate.
