Electrical connection
>
Check the power source and the pump’s rating plate to be
sure that the power source and the equipment match in volt‑
age, phase, and frequency.
Vacuum pump with switchable dual-voltage motor
CAUTION
Possible damage to the pump motor.
If the vacuum pump is switched on with wrong voltage se
‑
lection at the voltage selection switch, the motor may be
damaged.
>
Check the setting of the voltage selection switch every
time before switching on the pump.
>
The selected voltage range must correspond to the sup
‑
ply voltage of the power supply.
>
Disconnect the vacuum pump from the mains supply
prior to adjusting the voltage selection switch.
Adjusting the voltage selection switch
1.
1.
Ensure that the vacuum pump is separated from the pow‑
er supply. Switch off the pump and disconnect the electrical
power cord.
