Switching on and using the ice and water dispenser
Before switching on the ice and water dispenser for the first time, make sure the
water filter insert is installed correctly and the water circuit has been flushed
through. If the appliance is not connected to the water connection during operation,
will flash and it will not be possible for water or ice cubes to be dispensed.
When the ice and water dispenser is used for the first time, we do not recommend
using the first batch of ice that fills the ice bucket. If the water dispenser has not
been in use for five days or more, flush through the water system thoroughly, then
dispense a few litres of water and discard it. Ice cubes will not be produced while
holiday mode is activated.
It will take 10 to 24 hours for ice to start being produced automatically. The ice dispenser
produces around 1.2 kg of ice cubes in 24 hours. The performance will depend on the
temperature set in the freezer compartment, the ambient temperature and the number of
times the door is opened. The appliance will keep producing ice cubes until the ice bucket
has filled to the maximum permitted level. The ice making function will then switch off
automatically. After the appliance has first been installed, the first batch of ice cubes may
be small because of air that has entered the water line. This should improve during normal
use. If it does not, check the circulation in the water line and the water pressure, and check
that the water valve is open enough.
Do not put your fingers, hands or any other unsuitable objects in the ice chute or
ice bucket. Do not leave children unsupervised around the ice and water dispenser.
Risk of injury or damage to the appliance!

If ice cubes that have already been produced are not removed for some time, they may
become gradually smaller and less clear, and may stick together. If this occurs, empty the
ice bucket. Ice cubes can absorb odours from their environment, affecting their taste.
