Starting a recipe
For recipes that do not require preheating, place the food in the cold cooking
space.
▸ Long touch the display.

The start screen appears.
For recipes with steam:
▸ Fill the water tank up to the «max.» mark with fresh, cold drinking water and slot into
position in the water tank compartment.
▸ Select the
«Recipes» application group and confirm with «OK», if required (see

▸ Select the desired chapter.
▸ Select the desired recipe and confirm with «OK».

The settings for the recipe appear in the display.

Set an end time or a delayed start, if required (see page 18).

To view the individual recipe steps, open the overview of the steps on the left edge
of the display. Select «1. Step». The overview of the steps opens and you can see
information on each step such as the operating mode, temperature and operating
time. The action information contains information on what actions need to be taken
in each case.

To start the recipe from a particular step, select that step and confirm with «OK».
That step is applied to the ready to start screen and you can start the recipe as
usual by touching «Start». This allows you to skip earlier steps in the recipe, e.g. if
you have already completed elements of the recipe or if you only want to do an ele-
ment of the recipe.

A delayed start is possible for recipes from the recipe books. Please note that, de-
pending on the recipe, the food must be put in after preheating or it must be
turned part way through the cooking time, for instance.
▸ Press «Start» to start the recipe.

The recipe starts.

The information on the steps in the step menu on the left edge of the display can
also be viewed while the recipe is running.
While the recipe is running
While the recipe is running, it may be necessary to open the appliance door, e.g. to turn
the food over or to put in more food. In such an instance, operation is paused and the
display shows instructions on what to do next.
