Temporarily turning off a permanent setting option

setting option is temporarily turned off for the «Intensive»
programme.
▸ Select other setting options as required.
▸ Start the programme (see page 31).
When the «Intensive»
programme is selected in the future, all permanently se-
lected setting options appear again.

Childproof lock
Activating
▸ On the start screen, touch the button repeatedly until the user setting «Childproof
lock» appears.
▸ Touch the button.
▸ Touch the
button.

The following appears in the display: «To activate or unlock the childproof lock,
please enter the code 3221 backwards.»
▸ Touch the button to confirm the message.

The childproof lock is activated.
Operation with the childproof lock activated
The childproof lock has to be overridden before a programme can be selected.
EcoManagement data, however, can be retrieved without overriding the childproof lock.
▸ Open the appliance door.

▸ Enter the code as given in the «Frequently used user settings» section (see page 19).

The appliance is unlocked.

The appliance can be operated as usual.
