7.2 With message «A9» or «A11»
A9 Clean filters
and mat
A11 Clean heat pump and
cooler filter
A thick coating of fluff results in a reduced process air flow which can impair the
drying process and trigger the «A9» or «A11» message.
Check and, if necessary, clean the following parts in the appliance:
▪ Door filter (see page 25)
▪ Filter mat in door filter (see page 25)
▪ Front filter mat in front filter (see page 27)
▪ Evaporator (see page 29)
▪ Cooler filter (see page 29)
7.3 Removing any fluff
Cleaning interval: Each time after tumble drying
The door filter does not have to be taken out for cleaning.
▸ Open the filter cover 1 .
▸ Remove any fluff from the door filter 2 .
▸ Close the filter cover 1 .
