Pour a small amount of clean petrol into the spark plug hole then pull the starter cord once.
Please note: stay clear of the spark plug hole and don not smoke or have any naked flame
as the some petrol droplets and vapour will emerge from the hole (see red ring below)
which is highly flammable.
7.
Screw the spark plug back into the threaded hole by hand.
Please note: Be very careful
not to cross thread it as this will cause fatal damage to your engine
. Finally tighten
it with the spark plug socket and replace the spark lead firmly back on the spark plug.
8.
Then set the choke lever to the Warm start or trouble start position (See below) - Engine
Fuel tap lever (black) to the right and choke lever (grey) in centre position and pull the
starter cord to start.
Don’t forget to move this choke lever immediately to the
right (off position) when the engine starts running
