Input/output terminal specifications
Control terminals
When connectingthe terminal, be careful not to lose the detached Euroblock connector or
accompanying screws. Keep the screws out of reach of children. If swallowed, contact a
doctor immediately.
Input terminals
Activation method: no-voltage normally open (NO) contact or open collector output (pulse width:
20 msec or more)
Contact capacity: DC24 V/ 0.1 A or more
Input method: photo-coupler
Control input terminals:
Direct playback: 1 - 10; STP; COM
Binary playback: 1 - 8; 9; START; STP; COM
Backup Mode: CHANGE; COM
* The time from 'make contact' to start of playback is approx. 40 msec (typ.). Please note, however, that
slight deviations may occur depending on the type of memory.
* For binary playback, please ensure that the binary signal-designated input is completed within
50msec.
* All of the common (COM) terminals are internally connected, so they will both function regardless of
which one you connect to. When connecting the control terminals of multiple UDMR units using a
single NO contact, please connect the common terminals from each unit to each other.
Output terminals
Signal method: no-voltage normally open (NO) contact
Contact capacity: DC30 V; 5 A
Control output terminals:
Busy Out: BUSY OUT
LTC IN terminal
The UDMR is equipped with a balanced XLR-type LTC IN terminal
as shown in the diagram at right. Check the connector pins of device
to be connected before connecting to the terminal.
