Creating phrase combinations
The UDMR allows you combine several recorded phrases to
create new phrases. The phrase combination function uses
'pattern phrases' and 'song phrases'.
By creating phrase combinations, you can combine various
phrases to create new ones while conserving space on the
memory card.
Pattern phrase
The term 'pattern phrase' is used to describe the combination
of multiple phrases which are then played back in
succession. A pattern phrase is regarded as a single phrase.
Song phrase
The term 'song phrase' is used to describe the combination of
multiple phrases each having a designated playback start
time. A song phrase is also regarded as a single phrase.
Combining with phrase units
(pattern phrases)
Pattern phrases the method for combining phrases which
have already been recorded. They can be also used to
designate the playback sequence and the pattern interval.
