20. Do not forget to switch off the
appliance by turning the dial
into the
O/MIN
position once
your preparation is ready and
the appliance is no longer in
use. Pull the plug out of the
socket.
21. After switching off the coo-
king plate still remain hot for
some time. Do not touch the
hot cooking plates.
22. Wait until the appliance is
cooled completely before
cleaning it.
23. Check the plug and power
cord regularly for wear and
damage. In case of a fault,
please send the appliance
for inspection/repair to our
after sales service. Inade-
quate repair may constitute
a risk for the user and result
in the loss of guarantee.
CAUTION:
The appliance becomes very hot during operation!

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
1. Remove the product form the
packaging.
2. Before using the appliance, check
that the voltage marked on the
product is the same as your sup-
ply voltage.
3. Place the appliance on a dry flat
level surface in a well ventila-
ted room close to an electric wall
socket.
4. Ensure that the control is set to
O/MIN.
5. Connect the plug to the wall
socket as per rating label.
6. When using the appliance for the
first time, it is advisable to heat
the appliance once by turning the
thermostat control dial to MAX.
Leave the unit heating for around
15 minutes. Some smoke may
develop during this process.
7. Afterwards, switch off the unit by
turning the knob to O/MIN and
allow it to cool completely.
8. Now your cooking plate are ready
for use.
