The devices adhere to the EU guidelines 2004/108/EC and the technical standard EN 61800-3
provided that the following conditions are observed:
Mounting:
The device is conductively mounted on a 500x500x5 mm bright mounting plate.
The mounting plate must be connected to PE using a 10 mm² wire.
The motor housing must be connected to PE using a 10 mm² wire.
The device ground X-AGND must be connected to the mounting plate using a 2.5 mm² wire.
The device PE screw X:3:6 must be connected to the mounting plate using a 4 mm² line.
Connection of the control conductors:
All control conductors must be shielded. Analogue signal lines must be twisted and shielded.
Three-phase mains connection:
3 x 400 V~ with protective earth conductor
Motor connection:
Motor lines must be shielded and must have surface-to-surface contact with the earth.
After having been mounted in machines and installations the
operation of the device must not be started until the machine
or the installation has been approved of the regulations of the
EC machine guideline 2006/42/EC and the EMC guideline
2004/108/EC, for vehicles ECE-R83 and ECE-R100.
A manufacturer's declaration can be asked for.
