Adjusting the Backlight
This section describes screen settings and how to conserve battery power by adjusting the backlight.
NOTE:
MT380 screen contrast has been preset at the factory for optimum performance.
The backlight for the color display is user-defined. There are two tabs – one for Battery Power and the
other for External Power.

to adjust the screen brightness.

Set the backlight behavior and drag the
On Intensity
and
Dim Intensity
sliders to the desired levels.

Description
Dim Backlight if
Select how many minutes you
want to elapse before the backlight
dims.
Turn Off Backlight if Select how many minutes you
want to elapse before the backlight
automatically turns off.
Turn on Backlight
Select this option if you want the
backlight to turn on when a button
is pressed or the touch screen is
tapped.
