2.4 Launcher Introduction
HT1 Launcher defaults display all applications installed in the device.
Depends on users’ preference, HT1 launcher also allows you to customize the
setting, such as one app only, different list of apps, pin code access, or the look
and feel change. Each change must have a corresponding file and store into
HT1 Download folder. The following files inside the Download folder are used
to customize the HT1 Launcher:

Launcher Mode : Kiosk Mode or Launcher Mode
(File name : KioskApp.txt or LauncherApp.txt)
■
Kiosk Mode app
(File name :
KioskApp.txt)
■
Launcher Mode app list
(File name :
LauncherApp.txt)
■
Font color and background color
(File name : FontColor.txt and BackgroundColor.txt)
■
Pin code setup
(File name : Pincode.txt)
■
Wallpaper
(file name : Wallpaper.png)
2.4.1 Kiosk
App
Mode
When HT1 Launcher is configured in Kiosk Mode, the device will boot up into
the application specified in the KioskApp.txt file. To setup HT1 Launcher in
Kiosk Mode, please follow the instructions below:
1. Please create a text file on your pc.
(file name : KioskApp.txt)
2. Input command in the text file :
packageName=
<Kiosk App Package Name>
ex. calculator : packageName=com.android.calculator2
3. Save
KioskApp.txt
to HT1 Download folder.
4. Please restart HT1 to switch to Kiosk App mode.
Note: If both KioskApp.txt and LauncherApp.txt store in the HT1 Download folder, HT1
will only recognize KioskApp.txt.
